SERVICE NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE FOR SKP KYIVTELESERVIS

Around 100 km of fiber, 200 points of presence and 158 cross-connect sets — one multiservice network connecting more than 200 communal buildings to the city's IT services.

In 2017, VM Construction took on the demanding task of joining municipal organizations across more than 200 communal buildings into a single city information system.

Once on the city's IT infrastructure, these organizations gained shared city services at their fingertips — live video surveillance, municipal telephony and secure internet access.

Our team designed and deployed the solutions that link the nodes of the city's support multiservice data network directly to one another.

For the architecture we used our own fiber-optic lines, an MPLS core, fault-tolerant topologies and convergence protocols.

All told, our specialists set up 158 sets of modern cross-connect facilities, laid around 100 km of fiber-optic cable to the network nodes over OAO Ukrtelecom's cable channels, and equipped 200 points of presence.
